Are you a band looking to get some exposure? We’re looking for some bands to feature MP3 downloads from the site. One of the major upcoming bands for punk revival fans to watch out for has to be Angels and Airwaves. Why? Because if features Blink 182’s Tom DeLonge and Offspring drummer Atom Willard. And when members of some of the biggest bands in the genre form a new project it’s worth taking notice.
The debut is expected in April and they have already begun circulating some stuff via their website. Select “The Adventure” from their homepage to see their first video.
Yep, it’s that time of the year when those of us who are single feel horribly alone and considering taking the ultimate step and chatting to those people on our MSN list that we don’t actually know who they are ;).
If you haven’t got into the Lostprophets yet, you need to. Not right away of course, finish reading Music Steak but as soon as you’re done then go do it :p.

Though I was of course aware of them I didn’t really get into them until I was out shopping on Friday and heard these great lyrics. As I do (I hope other people do it too to make me less wierd) I scribbed down some of the lyrics down onto my phone and Googled them eventually leading me to We Still Kill The Old Way. Interesting story huh? ;).
I need to make some recommendations. First of all, From First to Last. You might have already heard of them as they are signed to Epitaph Records and I believe they are touring with Fall Out Boy, All American Rejects and Hawthorne Heights (all of which totally rock and you should check out if you haven’t done so already). Secondly, The GetAway Drive. I’m not sure about this hole no space between get and away but still, it’s their decision I guess. You can stream some of their stuff here. Stay Awake is a bit hmm but the rest of the stuff is really good.
I cannot get Heather Nova out of my head. She’s awesome. I know this happens with so many artists that I get stuck in my head but right now I don’t care :p. Walk This World, ace song, check it out.
