Music Steak

I was worried when I first listened to the latest offering from Lostprophets that I didn’t like it much. Luckily all it took was a few more listens through the album and it was ranking up there with Start Something, their previous effort.

While I’m not sure it has the consistency of Start Something, I think that is because their last album was done on a fairly narrow track, LT broadens the scape a little. And with great results too. I have Can’t Catch Tomorrow on repeat, Rooftops has scoped enough popularity to actually get played in you request it at clubs and 4am Forever provides enough heart to be added to the songs you play when you’re feeling depressed playlist.

Lostprophets have a new album which will be entitled Liberation Transmission and will be released on June 26th. One day before Billy Talent’s new album! It’s going to be a good summer of music.

Billy Talent will finally return after their 2003 debut with there new album entitled “Billy Talent II” on 27 June. They are touring Europe and the US over the summer to support the album.

Sum 41’s guitarist Dave “Brownsound” Baksh has quit the group. The split was put down to creative differences although it’s reported he also wants to focus on his new metal band.

Canadian rock band Billy Talent will be touring Europe this summer including a stop at Download Festival.

Britney Spears’ fans have begun a campaign to stop all the media BS aimed at her. A campaign website is reportedly on the way.
